Enhanciar vs Slackbot
(Slack AI)

Slack's built-in AI knows Slack. Most of your company's answers live partly outside it: in email, Drive, Notion, Jira, Zendesk and code. Here is an honest look at which to use when.

Questions

Can I use both Slackbot and Enhanciar?

Yes. They do different jobs. Slack's own AI is good at summarising what happened in Slack; Enhanciar answers from Slack plus your email, docs, tickets and code, with sources.

Does Enhanciar work outside Slack?

Yes. Slack is one place to ask. There is also a web app, an API and an MCP server so AI tools like Claude and Cursor can query the same brain.

Does Enhanciar need to be invited to every channel?

To read a channel's messages, the Enhanciar Slack app must be added to it, the same as any Slack app. But Slack is only one source: answers can also come from email, Drive, Notion, tickets and code that never touched Slack.
