When to pick Unblocked instead of Enhanciar
- You need on-prem deployment. Unblocked offers it on Enterprise; Enhanciar is hosted only.
- You need SSO, a guided security review and a dedicated success team today. Those are on Unblocked's Enterprise plan; Enhanciar is an early-access product without that process yet.
- You want a CLI and a public API as first-class surfaces, or you pull in product analytics and production signals, which Unblocked lists as sources.

When to pick another alternative
Glean if the question is “where is anything at this company?” rather than “why is this code like this?”. Sourcegraph if you need code search across thousands of repos, self-hosted, and have the budget for an enterprise contract. Greptile if what you actually want is a reviewer on every PR. Amp is a coding agent, not a Q&A tool; it belongs in the list only because people search for it next to Cody.
When Enhanciar fits
Your questions are mostly “why is it like this?” and “what breaks if I change it?”. You want each answer to point at the file:line and the PR, review comment or Slack message it came from, so you can open it and judge for yourself. You want your AI coding agents to ask the same brain over MCP. And you'd rather pay a flat subscription plus your own model tokens than a per-user price.
Moving from Unblocked, or setting up from scratch

- Add a model key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or a compatible provider.

Why not just paste the code into ChatGPT or Claude?
